Some recent pictures after the river returned to its banks. It was still above flood stage until approximately Sunday, August 10, 2008. The river stage is predicted to be around 5 feet by Friday, August 22, 2008. Red Rock Lake is predicted to be back to the normal level by then and just in time for the Labor Day Holiday. We were the last county in the state to be removed from the Flood Warnings. It would appear that it is ok to keep us flooded so that the lake will be ready for recreational purposes.
